About Mount Edward Winery & Cellar Door
Mount Edward is a family-owned organic winery in Gibbston, Central Otago, with a cellar door in the winery. It is about 30 minutes by car from Queenstown and 15 from Arrowtown, near the Gibbston bike trail.
Its story runs from pioneer beginnings to certified organic production on regeneratively farmed vineyards. The cellar door offers bespoke tastings and a tapas menu, fits about twenty people and recommends bookings, with the feel of a small wine bar.
The range includes Pinot Noir, library releases, mineral edged whites, and orange wine, vermouth and sparkling. A Cellar Club is open to join, and wines are sold online.
