About Domain Road Vineyard
Domain Road Vineyard in Bannockburn is owned by Graeme and Gillian Crosbie and specialises in cool climate wines. They bought an old apricot orchard on Domain Road in 2002, cleared the land and planted vines, and Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Riesling now grow there.
The vineyard overlooks The Sluicings, an area shaped by gold mining during the 1860s, while the Pinot Noir grows on land the mining did not disturb. A rammed-earth gold miner's cottage built in the 1880s has been restored and improved in recent years.
Wines are sold through select wine shops and a cellar club, and the winemaking follows a traditional approach. The vineyard has wheelchair accessible parking and an accessible entrance.
